Ofcourse it is not a fault of the people of Nasik, but it does suggest that Nasik still does not have the industrial critical mass to sustain a flight. The concept of subsidizing flights as they do in the US will never catch on in India, for sure. Also the airport is probably way too much out of the city.<br /><br />Probably not much of a deal. Sugar content comes into play as a result.
